Social Media Club San Diego (#SMCSD) is pleased to announce Social Media Camp: San Diego (#SMCampSD), a one-day event hosted at Sony Electronics’ magnificent LEED certified building in San Diego (Rancho Bernardo) on Saturday, April 30th from 9am-5pm.
Social Media Camp: San Diego will feature sessions from local social media professionals such as:
- Becky Carroll (local NBC news Social Media reporter and professor of Social Media at UCSD),
- Steve Eisenberg (Internet Marketer and educator at Grossmont College),
- Chris Husong (Social Media Strategist),
- Sukhjit Ghag (Blogger & Social Media Evangelist at Sony Electronics),
- Calvin Lee (Twitter Maven and Designer),
- as well as other leaders in Southern California’s business community.
Social Media Camp: San Diego will provide education, fun and relationship-building in a hybrid conference atmosphere – one part single track conference/workshop/training and one part Bar Camp (open space learning). This event is where teachers are students, and everyone learns from each other. It is also an opportunity for the local social media community to gather with one another to improve their professional skills and work to strengthen their networks and further their personal passions.
Social Media Club San Diego is co-producing a series of panels, talks and keynotes, bringing in some of the smartest people we know on the most important topics such as Social Media (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube), Metrics, Blogging, Community Management and more. There will also be the Sony Blogger lounge to hang out in and also some Sony Products on demonstration that day.
Tickets are $15 and lunch is included. Sponsorships are available to companies (please contact Social Media Club San Diego for more information). There is limited space so please register on
theeventbrite site http://smcampsd.eventbrite.com/ today.
Scheduled Speakers and information will be added throughout the month to SocialMediaCamp.org.
